Crayon Rocks Review and Giveaway **Closed**

My daughters 3rd Birthday was this last Sunday and instead of giving her more crayons to break in half we decided to go a different route. I hate finding pieces of crayons everywhere and hate how they break so easily. We were sent a package of Crayon Rocks to review for you.

About Crayon Rocks:

Hi, my name is Barbara Lee and I taught children with special needs for 23 years.  I invented Crayon Rocks after being inspired by Jan Olsen, OTR, and the Handwriting Without Tears program.  I learned from her how important it was to develop early a good tripod grip. Handwriting skills depends upon this.

Since a child's first writing tool is usually a crayon, that crayon should be one that encourages him or her to use thumb, first and second fingers in a tripod grip.  This is what makes Crayon Rocks a wonderful tool for fine motor development.

Having two toddlers can sometimes be very tiring. Anyone with a toddler would know how hard it is to keep them occupied for longer than five minutes without the typical "Mommy, Mommy!" and a tug on your shirt or pants. Luckily for us, it is summer and with summer comes all of the fun outdoor activities our children love. Of course we can rent some of these activities for parties or special occasions, or thanks to companies like Blast Zone we can now buy these great toys for great prices and use them all summer!

We received the Sidekick Castle Bounce House to review for you guys and could not be happier with this product! At first I was worried that it would be a major hassle to put up and take down. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only took about 10 minutes (if not less) to unfold, stake down, and hook everything up. I was even more surprised to find that it blew up within a matter of a minute!

Radio Flyer "How Do You Roll?" Groove Glider Scooter Review and Giveaway **Closed**

I remember when I was younger and everyone had a scooter, and if you didn't have one you were not cool. I begged and begged until finally I got a scooter for Christmas. Other than the fact that it was blue and not pink I could not have been happier. Now that I have two little girls I live for those moments that make my girls happy. I was able to get Radio Flyer's new Groove Glider to review, and not only was I excited but my little one was super excited to help me review her new toy.

When we first got the box we could not wait to open it, and as soon as my little girl saw it she pointed to the picture and said "cute!" She is two years old so any compliments from her mean a lot. I was a little surprised that we had to put it together, but it was very simple and took a matter of minutes to do. I could not believe how cute the scooter is. Its white and pink which is perfect for my little princess!

I don't know how well story time goes at your house, but at mine it is very hard to get my kids to sit still through a whole book without being promised something first. Which is why I love this next product.

The Care For Our World Activity Set not only includes a book to read to your children, but also includes punch out animals like the ones in the story, as well as an area to play with them on. It's very easy to keep your child's attention while reading to them because they can act out the story as you are reading it to them. I love how thick the pieces are, and out easily everything fits together.

My kids love to play with this set whether or not I am reading them the story. So not only so you get a good book to read for them, but you kids also get a great toy that they can play with. It comes with dozens of punch out animals, so your child will have a blast letting you know which is their favorite, and also learning about all of the different animals.

MindWare Toys Review

It's not often that we, as parents, can find a toy that not only is entertaining to our kids but also educational at the same time. That's where MindWare toys comes in. Not only do they have great toys that are both parent and kid approved, but their toys also help educate, and stimulate your child's mind.

We received MindWare's Pattern Play Which is a board with 40 different blocks, and each color is a different size. The goal of the game is to make different patterns using the blocks. If also comes with a bag to place everything in, and even comes with little cards that have different designs that your child can try to duplicate.

I love dressing up my little girls in dresses and anything else girly I can find. Well I found a whole website dedicated to giving you everything you need to make your little girl look like a princess. Pink Princess not only has beautiful dresses for your little girl, but they also carry matching accessories like gloves, shoes, bags, and even hair accessories.

I received a white flower girl dress, with a solid bodice with a ribboned taffeta skirt. As soon as I took it out of the package I knew it would be perfect for my little princess, and I could not wait to put it on her. In fact, I put her in the dress as fast as I could.
